Taking Care of Yourself When You’re Sick
A cold usually lasts a few days to a week. Taking care of yourself during a cold can help you get better quicker.
- Drink plenty of fluids but avoid caffeine and alcohol
- Use a humidifier to moisten the air you breathe
- Vitamins or good old chicken soup may help
- Reduce stress with quiet time, warm baths, and a good eight hours of sleep a night
